More Information:
DVTA Jr. Tennis Camp is a program for younger players who already show a special interest in the game of tennis. From beginners to low-intermediate players, the focus of the DVTA Jr. Tennis Camp is to develop a strong technical foundation in a fun and friendly environment.
DVTA uses Red, Orange, and Green low compression balls to help make the process easier and the positive results more frequent for our campers. Because character building and athletic skills are a vital component of competition, we incorporate additional sports in the afternoon, group challenges, and leadership exercises in addition to typical tennis drills, rallies, and point play. These activities give our future competitors the chance to broaden their athletic skills and to emphasize good sportsmanship at a youthful age.
To balance out the tennis focus, the campers go swimming a couple of times per week and partake in Games Day on Fridays; making the Jr. Tennis Camp both effective and enjoyable for players of all levels.
